Yays (:

Today was a GOOD day. Let me tell you about my day. No wait. First i should talk about my first cruising experience. Actually i have nothing much to say. We were in a gigantic ginormas ship, 13 storeys high and it was very cool. Like literally cool too! We were moving almost all the time and if you stood still for a coupla seconds you could actually feel the huge gigantic ginormas ship moving. It was all very exciting. Although i must say, all i can remember doing is eat. And eat. Free food, you see. Went to Redang beach on Thursday and spent the afternoon jumping waves and snokelling though there wasn't much to see. Then when we finally found FISH, my dad thought he saw a JELLY FISH and so we frantically swam back to the other side of the beach. It was funny. I'm not quite tanned again, but i think i tan a funny colour.. I blame my dad. Genes! Okay yes. On the last night there was this gigantic ginormasly yummy bbq and i think i ate a lot because i was mega gigantic ginoramasly hungry! (and still am. i don't know why. For my size, i don't think it's normal to be eating so much! But well, growing girls need their food, i guess) Then after that we went to some bar where i had too much to drink and went to bed looking like a lobster with michy laughing, and laughing. It was a sad night. I must comment though, Star Cruises is amazingly efficient and there were so many staff from different countries around the globe that it was simply fantastic. Yes it was very good (:

Okay now about my happy day! Okay actually it wasn't that out-of-the-ordinary. It was just a lot of fun. Let's see.. I was aiming to get up at 8, but i ended up out of bed at 10 because i didn't feel like getting up and i was having these weird nice dreams with random people in them! So i rolled out of bed and did FILING! I now have a nice, neat file(S) and it's sort of stressful seeing the amount of stuff i have yet to study.. Oh wells. Then i went out with dad to buy lunch. We went all over HollandV to buy lunch for different members of our family AND I FINALLY, FINALLY GOT MY SUBWAY! My dad was rather embarrassing:

Me: Um, no tomatoes on half
Girl: HUH?
Me: Half, no tomatoes please
Girl: -Very Confused Look- You want what?
Dad: She said, no tomatoes on half the sandwich! You see, this half -big hand gestures- TOMATOES. This half -bigger hand gestures- NO -hand gestures- TOMATOES -points- Do you understand? Half, NO, TOMATOES.. no tomatoes..
Me: Dad you're being slightly embarrassing
Dad: -Cheeky grin- Do you want half no olives too?

Okay yes, so i had my lunch while Nick was having his (not-so-exciting-after-all) 'minor' operation. Then i went to meet him at City hall and we looked at potential Thank You cards for Ms Goh HAHAHA THERE WAS A DAMN FUNNY CARD.. OH MAN.. IT WAS DAMN FUNNY. But i shall not spoil it by describing it here. But hahahaha it was funny, really! Then we went to Starbucks to mug and omg i tell you, some science students' math is worse than mine when it comes to counting money for vouchers BUT NVM. Okay yes. I GOT MY CARAMEL FRAP! Starbucks + good company = Happy Francine.

Okay then i met Soph baby! She came to find me. Then came Sam Lee and Zee and then TREE! We bought a heart shaped chocolate cookie with "Bon Voyage Miss Goh" on it! It came in a pretty red Mrs Fields box and it was yummilicious! Okay then we bought the nice sheepy cushion cos according to Zee, "Scotland has many sheep!" Uh, i still doubt the credibility of that but the cushion was nice nonetheless. Then came the card. Haha, nice card (:

Went to Marche, Suntec to meet up with the rest, but it wasn't til much much later that all 10 of us - Zee, Sam Lee, Tree, Jen, Soph, Jiayi, Chiang, Max, Me and FINALLY Miss Goh (who was ahem, wet so had to go home and change hahaha) made it. THEN IT WAS FOOD TIME!!! I was too busy eating so i didnt take any pictures. Shared Rosti with sausage, mushroom soup and a waffle with STRAWBERRIES AND CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM AND CHOCOLATE SAUCE with Zee and Caeser salad with tree. Yay i was such a happy and full monster girl.

We spent the whole time comparing JCs and promo stresses and gossiping about everything and anyone under the sun, but not in a bitchy manner! After everything, just as Max says, i guess it's true. Ultimately you're gonna find there's the whole politics side to things, and though it sucks, what can you do? Everyone's bitchy and mean in their own right, just some moreso. Everyone's gonna have some sort of opinion (good or bad) about you and you can't stop them if they don't like somethings you do or say but, like mummy says, "You shouldn't change who you are just cos of it". And it's true. Then, like we were talking about when i so eagerly wanted to know what bad mean and evil things people were saying behind my back, i guess they're right - it's better not to know. Ignorance is bliss, in every aspect of the phrase. I think life would be a lot simpler and happier if we were all like Chiang - blissfully ignorant, horny, and happy! Haha. But after tonight's long long talk session, it just made me realise how lucky i am to have such a close bunch of friends who i know would stick up for me when people put me down and who would support me in anything i do, even if it's not necessarily the best as seen by the outside world. They've taken the time and effort to get to know me proper, to understand how i work (confused though i am many a time, and with an awesomely bad sense of direction) and they know that my intentions are good and have never doubted me. I love that, and the security and warmth that it brings me. So truly i say: No nothing, just everything. Thanks guys, ilu all.

It was so nice to see Miss Goh too! Oh man, brought back all the Secondary school Bonesetter's memories ((((((((: Quoting like crazy. WE'LL MISS YOU MISS GOH! (Oh look, it rhymes!) COME BACK SOON (:

So all in all, it's been a fantastic day. A good end to the holidays i must say (:
